The March issue of the IAAE newsletter will soon be available on the IAAE website. It contains a great deal of information about how Iowa's budget cuts are affecting alternative education. Visit www.iaae.net<http://www.iaae.net/> to watch for the release of this information-packed newsletter. I urge all of you to read the articles and attend this year's IAAE conference to become more informed about possible changes to alternative education and what you can do to prepare yourselves for what lies ahead. Representatives from both the Iowa Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Education will be speaking at the conference. This is your chance to become better informed about education legislation and to ask questions.
