[Maillist] Online Courses Reimbursed by IA Microsoft Settlement Funds

I'm being told to spread the word about this. If you have not already used your Microsoft Software Voucher (not General Purpose), I encourage you to look at Education 2020 online courses for middle and high schools. E2020 is the only online learning courses on the eligible Software list so if your school was awarded the Microsoft funds, you can get reimbursed for purchasing them this year. Districts all over the state have already been replacing other programs with them due to real teacher design, quality, affordability, prescriptive features, and variety of use.  By using e2020 for credit recovery and failure prevention, you would decrease your overall failure rate of any core course, which would connect to your school’s required (by Microsoft) intervention plan of implementing the Iowa Core Curriculum in one or more core areas. There are 45 courses to choose from plus an ITED prep course, ACT prep course, and GED prep course.  If you don't use the
 software voucher, you lose it, so check into this now. There are references you can call who will tell you why they switched to this program.
 
There will be information at the IAAE conference in April along with a demo of the courses.
