Hello. This message is from Pat Johansen in Jefferson, Iowa. As we prepare our next IAAE newsletter, we would like to know from our Iowa alternative schools and programs what affects you are seeing from the recent budget cuts, education restructuring, etc.

Since the information will be collected and published in our newsletter, we will not publish your name unless you request it. (It seems that there are some sensitive situations out there.)

We are merely trying to document which programs are undergoing changes (cuts in staff, changes in type of programs/courses offered, programs being closed, etc.) so that we can get a clear picture of the changes that are taking place in alternative education due to the downturn in the economy.
