"The Iowa Association of Alternative Education is taking applications  
for speakers at our spring conference.  The conference will be held on  
March 26th and 27th in Des Moines.  This year's theme is "The New  
Agenda, Learning Alternatives for Everyone."  We have several openings  
left for breakout session speakers.  If you are interested, please  
fill out the INFORMATION FORM.   Please forward the completed form as  
indicated in the upper right-hand corner of the form. "

attendance of 30-40 individuals.  If you need special arrangements to  
present two sessions in a row or other time block/day arrangements

Presentation Equipment

Each room has a screen, outlets, and internet access. Presenters must  
provide their own LCD projector and computer if needed. The IAAE will  
make every effort to provide other audio visual equipment if indicated  
on this form.

Fees and Lunch

The conference fee that includes the cost of lunch for both days will  
be covered by the IAAE for all presenters.  Please indicate which days  
you will be enjoying lunch with us.

Lodging

The IAAE has reserved 90 guest rooms at the Airport Holiday Inn  
Conference Center for Wednesday, March 25th and 110 rooms for  
Thursday, March 26th at the special conference rate of $81.00 plus  
taxes per night.  Reservations must be made by Wednesday, March 4th,  
2009.  After that date, the reservation and the special price will be  
released.  Please use the contact information below to make your  
reservation.  They have been cooperative with school purchase orders  
in past years.
