I just finished a book which just published in 2008. The book offered
me even more encouragement that the new reforms for education
recognize the primary constructs used to form the alternative
education movement and the development of alternative schools and
programs. If you are looking for some research to help others
understand your alternative school or why the school district should
have an alternative learning environment, read this book. Better yet,
have your critics read the book.
